Welcome back to SolSocial with Dr. Makeba and friends. I'm Dr. Makeba, and I'm so happy you're here with me today. We've been exploring some deep concepts this season, and in this episode we're bringing in a little more movement, a little more fun and a lot more flow. Today we're talking about what it means to dance with life. How shifting your energy can change everything. So let's dive in and talk about how to move with life instead of resisting it, we're talking about how to flow with life, how to stop resisting and start moving with the natural rhythms of the universe. Life is always moving, right? And it's true, but the question is, are you moving with it or are you resisting the flow? When we resist, we get stuck. Our energy becomes stagnant and it feels like nothing is working. We feel frustrated, overwhelmed, and disconnected from ourselves and the world around us, but when we dance with life. We open ourselves up to the possibility, we step into the natural rhythm of the universe and things start to align in ways we could never imagine. I know it sounds poetic, but it's true. And today we're going to explore some ways you can shift your energy to get back into that flow and start dancing with life instead of fighting against it. Alright, as usual, I have a few tools for you. Tool number one, shake off the stagnation. Let's start with something simple but powerful. Sometimes when we feel stuck, it's not that we don't know what to do, it's that our energy is trapped and we need to move it. So here's a practice. I want you to try. Find a quiet space, put on a song you love and just move. It doesn't matter how you move, there are no rules, no expectations. Just let your body lead. Maybe it's dancing, maybe it's shaking. Maybe it's just swaying side to side. The point is to let your body release any tension, any stuck energy, and allow yourself to feel free. You'd be amazed at how much clarity can come from simply moving your body. It helps you shift out of your mind and into your heart into the present moment. When we stop trying to think our way through problems and start moving, we create. Space for new ideas and solutions to come through. Tool number two, find your rhythm. The next tool is about finding your personal rhythm. We all have a unique energy, a rhythm that feels natural to us, but in today's fast-paced world, we often get out of sync with our own rhythm because we're trying to keep up with everyone else's. Take a moment to think about this. When do you feel the most inflow? Is it in the mornings when you're just starting your day, or maybe it's in the evening when things are quieting down? Maybe it's when you're outdoors or when you're deep into a creative project, whatever it is. I want you to start noticing these moments when you feel that sense of ease, like everything is flowing effortlessly. That's your rhythm, and the more you can tune into that, the more you can design your life around it. So the next time you're feeling stuck, ask yourself, am I trying to force myself into a rhythm that's not mine? If so, step back and find your own beat. Trust that your rhythm is exactly what the world needs. Tool number three, embrace change as part of the dance. Here's the thing about Dancing with Life. It's not just about feeling good all the time. Sometimes life throws unexpected changes our way, and that can make us feel off balance. But what if we could embrace those changes as part of the dance When change comes, instead of resisting it, ask yourself, how can I move with this? Maybe that means adjusting your plans. Maybe that means letting go of expectations. Or maybe it simply means surrendering to what's happening. When we see change as part of the rhythm instead of something that disrupts it, we can find peace. Even in the chaos, life is going to change. It's inevitable. But when we learn to move with it, instead of against it, we become more resilient. More flexible and ultimately more in tune with ourselves and with the world. Tool. Number four, celebrate small wins. Okay, I wanna talk about celebration. One of the best ways to dance with life is to celebrate the small wins along the way. So often we get caught up in the big picture, the end goal, and, and we forget to appreciate the steps we've taken to get there. Here's a little exercise for you. At the end of each day, take a moment to reflect on what went well. It doesn't have to be a big, major achievement. Maybe you had a great conversation, maybe you finished a task that's been on your list for a a minute, or simply took some time for yourself. That's a big win. Whatever it is, celebrate it, write it down, acknowledge it, and let yourself feel proud. When we celebrate the small wins, we create more joy, more gratitude, and more momentum in our lives. It's like adding fuel to the fire. It keeps us going. It reminds us that we're always making progress. So as we wrap up today's episode, I want you to remember life is always moving and you have the power to move with it. Whether it's shaking off stagnant energy, finding your own rhythm. Embracing change or celebrating the small wins. These are all ways you can start dancing with life. When you stop resisting and start flowing, everything feels lighter and more aligned, and that's when the magic happens. Let yourself flow with life's natural rhythm.
